It is important for kid to learn tennis without been pressured, once their interest is there, there is not way for anyone or even their parent to remove it.
Most elite players such as Nadal, Rafael, Djokovic, Novak, Li, Na, Sharapova, Maria and others started learning tennis because they have an interest in the game.
Therefore, at Epic Tennis Academy we prided ourselves as the only academy that uses a all round tennis development from Toddler to Star Performers.
The toddler programs are being taught by trained physical educator who knows the important of child development and who are able to generate tennis interest in kids.
Introductory/Intermediate tennis is being taught by certified tennis coach with years of experience in coaching.
According to child physiologist, it is important for young children to obtain the basic psycho motor skills such as balancing, flexibility and coordination. The best way to do this is to introduce them to the sports of tennis.
In another aspect, child psychologist suggests that activities that encourage children to plan and think ahead will help improve their neurotransmission; scientific term known as synaptic transmission. In lay person term, this helps to train up Kids’ Brain Power .
Learning Tennis also helps children gain their concentration or improved their focus, this will in turn helps the child in other aspect of their daily life. Before a child hits a tennis ball, the child has to judge the bounce and the distance of the ball and the racket, these require judgement and focus on the tennis ball. Hence, with tennis training a child attention to their daily task will increased/improved.
For Kids lessons, it is important to create a fun environment so that the children could learn in an non-threatening environment. The key word is “Fun”, it will always help the children learn faster and at ease.With the correct technique in a fun environment, kids learn faster and their love for tennis will also grow steadily.That is why some of our coaches are former Physical Education teacher, with their years of experiences they are able to inject the element of Fun and proper technique training for your child.
Good experience with Coach Jack. It was my first experience in the game and Jack makes it interesting. I will come back for specific training modules to improve on my skills.

When I started a few months back with Coach Albert, I had not played tennis in years and indeed had never had formal coaching. Coach Albert is a great coach and never loses patience. He is doesn't try to start you over but rather to improve your natural swing whilst adding some key advice. I am delighted with the improvement I have made and am continuing to make. Time to work on my serve soon! I sometimes bring my children of 14 and 10 and Coach Albert also accommodates and helps them. Great stuff thanks Coach Albert!

Jack is a fantastic coach with a calm demeanor. He tailored his approach based on my strengths and weaknesses. One of his biggest assets is the ability to break down and fine-tune my techniques effectively. I learned something new in every session in the past 9 months.
Coach Jack is able to quickly identify my weakness in every lesson and work towards training me to kick any bad tendencies that I may have. There is also constant encouragements from Coach Jack when i felt that i did not do well enough as well. The lessons are always very productive with a nice variation of skillset being taught throughout the class.
My 7-year old twins attended tennis lessons by Coach Jack and they loved it. He is engaging and fun, and uses games to teach them skills and techniques. He will correct them if their strokes are wrong. My girls have shown progress since they started lessons with him. I will definitely recommend him!
Coach Albert trained my wife (no prior experience) and me - and he was very patient and helpful, and has helped us achieve our goal of being able to rally, play and remain fit. Jack is a great coach, he knows what I need to improve and how I can reach there. He not only coaching but also running and practicing with you so that he can fix your wrong posture and habits. I am glad I started my class with Jack who made me enjoy playing a tennis. Highly recommend!
I had beginner class with coach Jack. I never had any class before, so had bit doubt how it useful. But after 1st class I had decided to extend from 10 to 20 classes ,because coach Jack showed his passion and experience with professional teaching skills for beginner on 1st day.Now i finished my 20 classes , but I am already signing off for additional class with him. It really helped a lot to improve basic and skills from coach Jack. Thanks Coach Jack and Epic tennis academy!!
My son and I enjoyed our tennis lessons with Coach Kevin. He's friendly and patient. He manages to keep my 9 year old engaged and interested while instructing the techinical details. The various mini games we play during the lessons are a plus to keep the fun level up! Thanks, Kevin!
Coach Ruey teaches both my son Jayden 13 and my daughter Sienna 10. He has taught them since they were beginners and he has been encouraging of their development every step of the way. He works hard to develop the right playing technique, while also encouraging fitness and fun!

Coach Choy is very calm, patient & knowledgeable about the intricacies of tennis coaching. He pays close attention to, and corrects our strokes. Simply great to learn tennis under Coach Choy! He was always smiley, technically sound and ever so patient and encouraging with each of his students to correct their techniques individually. It was never about how many balls you managed to hit but how many good balls (with the right technique) and how you feel after u hit a good one. He sometimes re-enacted our mistakes and it's rather hilarious. The class was well-paced peppered with funny moments. I feel that I have made improved my play under him and truly learn to enjoy the game. In fact, I have signed up a 2-1 class with him after completing my beginner's class. I have and will continue to strongly recommend Coach Choy to my friends who are interested to pick up the sports.
Been with Coach Choy since day 1. I have started off in his beginner class and moving to his intermediate class, Coach Choy is very patient with every students in his class. He provide guidance accordingly to the level of students.His lessons are always very enjoyable, his has the ability to create a very friendly yet competitive atmosphere. Most interesting point of Coach Choy classes, he believe in game-time experience. Every last 10-15mins of each session, we will compete in a one-one or doubles match to iron out out bad habits and areas of improvement.I would strongly recommend Coach Choy!Shout out to Eddie and Epic Tennis for responding to request very efficiently as well as makeing this possible!
My 6yo son Ian has been learning from Coach Albert for a few months now, and i can tell that Coach Albert is very patient and good at explaining to the kids. My son himself says that he prefers Coach Albert! plus, unlike some schools, the lessons are based on a pacakage of 10 lessons, not term based, so you dont have to worry about make ups. Good job Epic & Coach Albert, keep it up!
Jack is one of the best tennis coaches around. The best thing about him is his calmness and positive approach towards coaching. He teaches complex techniques by breaking them down into simple steps. His methodological teaching will definitely ease the beginners into the game so quickly. I have always enjoyed the tennis sessions with him.
One of my friends and I went through the first lot of tennis classes with Jack. Jack is very good in suggesting corrections in a positive way, guided us through the basic techniques and made us feel the fun part of the game. I thank him for his classes and wish the team good luck for the future
I have started my 2 kids (5, 7) here with coach Kevin Lee and he is just awesome!! We had a really bad experience with another tennis school before where the classes were constantly cancelled.. none of that!! He comes even if the sky looks grey and doubtful, even if that means he just has to go back the way he came! Very committed, super fun and professional guy and best of all, my kids LOVE him!!! Never had so much fun playing sports!!!
Our 3 kids started tennis lessons with Coach Albert recently and they look forward to lessons with him every week! He is able to strike the right balance between making lessons fun, disciplined and imparting them with the right techniques. He is extremely patient as well, particularly with my 3.5 years old daughter. We would highly recommend him!

Coach Kevin is energetic in conducting lessons, while being able to inject some fun into the lessons. Our group has decided to continue for another 10 lessons under his coaching after the basic sessions.
